Who We Are
The mission of Family Promise is to empower families experiencing housing insecurities to secure a safe, affordable home, a livelihood, and the chance to build a better future for their children. Within our shelter, prevention, and stabilization programs we offer our services to anyone over the age of 18 who has at least one child in their primary custody. Family Promise serves families of all compositions through ten emergency shelter units, 8 transitional housing units, and with the purchase of A Journey Home Campus, we have added 13 scattered workforce housing units, and 9 emergency shelter units.
Rising Stars Early Learning Center provides STEM based education for children 4 weeks to 5 years of age. Our goal is to provide child care for every family in our community. Rising Stars ELC - named for our dedication to offering a Safe, Trusting, Accepting, Respectful, and Secure learning environment - is a community based early learning center that provides developmentally appropriate child care and early learning opportunities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
What We Do
Family Promise helps local communities coordinate and address family homelessness using a holistic approach that provides prevention services, shelter and case management, and stabilization programs.
