Who We Are
The Bozeman Library Friends and Foundation is dedicated to elevating the Library’s impact by raising money to support the Library beyond what public funding can offer. Our goal is to ensure that our Library remains a dynamic, ever-evolving, world-class resource for everyone in our community.
What We Do
Key Activities:
- Fundraising: Our funding comes from you – our community. This includes more than 1,100 individuals, organizations, and foundations that contribute gifts of all sizes.
- Book Sales: We also raise funds through our used book sales and our in-Library used bookstore, made possible by generous book donations from our community.
- Library Advocacy: The organization works to raise awareness of the library’s importance and advocate for its role as a vital resource in the community.
- Program Support: They help fund literacy programs, children’s activities, author talks, and various cultural and educational events offered at the library.
