Who We Are

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County matches local children facing adversity with positive, long-term adult mentors who help them see their potential and achieve success in life.  We enroll children or “Littles” ages 5-15 and there is never a cost to families for our services.  Our mentors (“Bigs”) are local volunteers who are over 18, have a verified background, valid driver’s license and are willing to commit at least 18 months to mentoring a child.  This relationship is closely monitored by our staff to ensure its success.  We want every child to have one more caring adult in their life.  Our mentors are caring adults and role models who help at-risk youth make smart decisions.  We want kids to avoid drugs and alcohol.  We don’t want them to fall in with the wrong crowd.  We want them to go to school and stay in school.  We want to see them graduate, get good jobs and succeed in life.  That’s what Big Brothers and Big Sisters is all about.

What We Do

The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Our vision is that all children achieve success in life.
