Early Learning
We are focused on educational success for children across our community by ensuring all children enter kindergarten ready to thrive by providing parents with tools to support their child’s development and education, improving learning environments, enriching out-of-school time programs, and helping children and their families overcome nonacademic barriers to success in school and life.
Youth Success
We ensure children and youth consistently get a strong start and have a solid foundation for success in school, work, and life. Through our kidsLINK out-of-school intiatives, GGUW is making high-quality childcare accessible and affordable through providing scholarships and out-of-school care for working families near where they live and work.
Basic Needs
We are committed to helping people achieve self-sufficiency by addressing their immediate needs, providing them with the resources and support they need to thrive, and building a support system to get back on their feet after a crisis.
Mental Health & Well-being
Mental health and well-being programs are essential to communities as they cultivate resilience, foster emotional support, and contribute to the overall health and stability of individuals and the collective. We invest in programs that provide affordable mental health counseling and support along with programs to increase health, hope, and belonging.
How We Do It
We do it by harnessing the passion of hundreds of volunteers and thousands of donors. We do it by mobilizing the best resources, forging partnerships, utilizing existing community assets and offering new solutions to old problems.
