Big Sky Youth Empowerment

Big Sky Youth Empowerment is an adventure-based, group mentoring program that provides opportunities for at-risk teenagers from Gallatin County, Montana to experience success with the goal of becoming contributing members of the community.

During each week of our program youth spend one evening participating in a small group workshop centered around our social emotional and skill building curriculum. One day on the weekend the youth adventure with their group of mentors and peers and engage in an outdoor or creative expression activity such as skiing or snowboarding, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, hiking, pottery, or painting. The adventures provide an opportunity for our youth to practice skills learned in workshop and transfer them to real life situations outside of Big Sky Youth Empowerment.
