Join the fight against homelessness on Saturday, October 13th from 4:30 pm to 7:00 am at Bogert Park Pavilion. Cardboard Box City's goal is to give community members a chance to experience a night in the life of a homeless family– outside, using cardboard and sturdy materials to shelter them from the elements.
For one night, kids, families, community groups, and more sleep outside and brave the elements in a creatively designed, built, and decorated cardboard structure of their choosing. It’s fun, it’s educational, and best of all, it’s an experience that will leave a lasting impression.
Along with good times and real-world education, Cardboard Box City gives kids and families the opportunity to serve homeless families by raising money. Every kid is challenged to raise $100 to support Family Promise and keep our doors open to serving families in need for another year.
