Join Farm to School of Park County on Greater Gallatin United Way’s Day of Action and get your hands dirty for a great cause! We manage ten school and community gardens across Park County, growing over 4,000 pounds of fresh produce each year, most of which ends up on school lunch trays.
On Thursday, June 27, we’re inviting volunteers to spend the morning (9 AM–12 PM or 9 AM–1 PM) helping us tend one of our gardens. Tasks may include weeding, planting, mulching, and general garden maintenance—no experience necessary.
We’ll provide gloves and tools. Just wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes. Whether you’re a green thumb or just eager to help, your time makes a real impact on local kids and schools.
